MINERAL MASTER offers Barytes under trade name of MASTER BARYTES is a natural Barium Sulphate which is characterized by very high Bulk Density and inertness to both acids as well as alkalis.
Barytes finds an extensive application as an extender pigments due to its high refractive index, low oil absorption, low abrasiveness and easy dispersion. This product is widely used in primer formulations because of low oil absorption.

Barytes (or barite) is the naturally occurring mineral barium sulphate (BaSO4). It is mainly used (70%) as a weighting agent in drilling fluids by the oil and gas industry where baryte’s high specific gravity assists in containing pressures and preventing blowouts.
